As a life long vegan who grew up living in Ethiopia, India and Afghanistan and the UAE I have always enjoyed experimenting and creating vegan foods, especially vegan cheases which we could not find abroad. After graduating from University with a 1st class honours degree from York it became increasingly clear to me that there was not a great range of (if any) artisan vegan cheases on the UK market. I set out to create a healthy, organic artisan vegan chease for my family and I to enjoy. It went down so well that I decided to take my cheases to a local vegan festival to see if other people would like it and it was a hit! Since then I have been growing Tyne Chease and experimenting more and more, we now have over 20 cheases that are shipped all over the UK, France and Belgium.
